We strive to provide our guests with an exceptionally clean, safe and friendly hotel experience. These hotel policy / house rules are presented here to help promote the safety and enjoyment of our guests and to ensure that every guest is aware of the agreements between Kasteel de Hoogenweerth and the guest.
When staying at Kasteel de Hoogenweerth, the guest agrees to be personally liable for all costs and charges incurred in the event such costs and charges have not been paid in full and confirms that his / her responsibility and liability in that regard has not been waived or waived. anyway. This includes consumption costs, provided costs, damage to the accommodation and any incorrect calculations during check-out.
CREDIT CARD WARRANTY & DEPOSIT:
All reservations must be guaranteed with a valid credit card. At check-in, the guest will be asked for credit card information. If the guest does not have a credit card, Kasteel de Hoogenweerth reserves the right to request a deposit instead.
BREACH AND / OR THEFT OF THE HOTEL OR THE HOTEL ROOM
The guest is liable for any damage caused (whether by intentional, negligent or reckless act) to the room (s), hotel grounds or property caused by the guest or any person in the guest’s company, whether or not staying in the hotel during your stay. Kasteel de Hoogenweerth reserves the right to charge any amounts it deems necessary in its sole discretion to compensate or reimburse the costs or expenses incurred or incurred by Kasteel de Hoogenweerth as a result of the foregoing.
Should this damage become apparent after the guest has left, we reserve the right and the guest hereby authorizes us to charge him / her for any damage caused to the room or hotel property during the stay incurred, including without limitation for all property damage. , missing or damaged items, smoking costs, cleaning costs, guest allowance, etc.
Damage to rooms, fixtures, furniture and equipment including the removal of electronic equipment, towels, artwork etc. will be charged at 100% of the full and new value. Any damage to hotel property, whether accidental or deliberate, is the guest’s responsibility for each specific room. Any repair costs will be charged. In the event of theft of items from the room, the purchase value of the product will be charged. This will be charged directly from the credit card.
100% SMOKE FREE:
This hotel is a non-smoking property, which is required by law in the Netherlands. Smoking or using drugs (of any kind) in these buildings will result in an additional cleaning fee of € 200. Activating or removing the fire alarm while smoking provides an additional cost of € 275.
IN CASE OF AN EMERGENCY OR FIRE:
In the event of fire or other emergency, the guest must notify the reception or immediately call the hotel’s emergency number as stated in the room information after closing time. A map with emergency exits can be found in the room.
The use of our wellness pool is at the guest’s own responsibility. There is no permanent supervision of the pool and children must be supervised by an adult at all times. Swimwear is mandatory when using the wellness pool. Only walk around in the Lusthof in swimwear. Bathrobes can be rented at our reception. Clothing is mandatory at all other locations and when entering and leaving the Lusthof.
Diving and side jumping is strictly prohibited. A maximum of 3 people are allowed in the pool at the same time.

LOST & FOUND POLICY:
All valuables brought to the hotel grounds are at the guest’s own risk. The hotel and / or management therefore accept no liability and are not responsible for any loss or damage. If the guest discovers that he / she has left something of value for him / her, we ask the guest to contact us immediately and we will try to help locate the lost item.
Kasteel de Hoogenweerth is not responsible for an item left by a guest. All items, with the exception of perishable items, that are left by our guests and found by Housekeeping after departure, are collected, reported and kept in a secure location for collection by the owner. Reasonable effort will be made to notify the guest that an item has been found. We are happy to return a lost item (s). The guest will be charged for packaging and shipping costs.
Dogs up to 25 kilograms are allowed in all hotel rooms. A surcharge of 25 euros will be charged for the stay of a dog.

All vehicles are parked at the owner’s risk. Kasteel de Hoogenweerth accepts no liability or responsibility for any vehicle, occupants or content while it is being operated or parked on the hotel grounds.
